About Us

The Canadian Professional Pet Stylists is the only Federally registered, not for profit certification association for Dog Groomers in Canada.

Canadian Professional Pet Stylists is not a school. We provide certifications for Groomers who have received formal training, apprenticed or are self-taught. Our certification program tests Groomers to a National Standard against their peers in three levels of certification, to suit the needs of all Groomers.

Certifications are done to the highest standard of ethics, safety and the breed standards of the Canadian Kennel Club. We strive to continue the education and knowledge of Groomers across Canada.

We are our own governing and registration body, registered to do business in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador.
